The Chocolate Festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and
ends at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th. It will be held at
the Fellowship Baptist Church, 12 Westminster Court (off Peavine Road)
in Fairfield Glade. General admission is $5 and permits unlimited
tasting/sampling; tickets may be purchased at the door.
The very popular fountain/fondue will delight you
with a choice of marshmallows, chips, fruits, pretzels and cookies
dipped in hot, dark chocolate. Candies, cookies, cakes, pies and
miscellaneous items will be offered for tasting and for sale; gift
packages of sugar free choices will be expanded due to popular demand.
A bake-off contest will be held for anyone who has
an extraordinary chocolate recipe to share. Cash prizes will be given in
each category with an original designed piece of jewelry by Nancy Jansen
for the grand prize winner. An application for the Bake-Off
Contest is below.
