The Art Guild's Chocolate Fest will be held on
Saturday, February 13th from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the
Multi-Purpose Building next door to the Plateau Creative Arts Center.
A donation of $6.00 per person permits unlimited tasting/sampling of the
finest chocolate sensations; cookies, cakes, candies, brownies, fudge,
and other delicious concoctions. Strolling guitarist, Anthony
Zarola, will delight all visitors with musical renditions of classical,
pop, ragtime, blues, country, and fold music.
For an entry fee of $10.00, you may enter the
bake-off contest for "The Ultimate Decorated Cake". All entries
for the contest must have dark, milk or white chocolate included in the
cake. The prize for "The Best of Show" is a silver pin pendant
with Carnelian stones created by silversmith, Nancy Jansen. 1st
Place prize is $50.00, 2nd Place prize is $25.00 and 3rd Place prize is
$20.00. Bake-off contest cakes to be donated to the Art Guild and
will be for sale at the Chocolate Fest event.
Entry fee is due by February 8th. Make
checks payable to the Art Guild at Fairfield Glade and mail to Judy
Kahoun, 624 Lakeview Drive, Fairfield Glade, TN 38558.
Bake good must be at the Multi-Purpose Building
Friday, February 12th between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. the day before the
event. All cakes must be contained in a cake box or cake
container. Do not make anything that needs to be refrigerated.
Cakes to be judged Friday at 3:00 p.m. Application blanks can be
obtained at the Plateau Creative Arts Center or complete the form below
and mail along with your entry fee to Judy Kahoun at the address above. |
