Le and her husband, Kent, retired to Tennessee from Sussex County, New Jersey in 1993.  A native of Michigan, Le attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the University of Maryland.

Le began oil painting in 1968 while living in Washing D. C. area.  Years later she developed an interest in watercolor and while living in Germany exhibited with three other American artists.

Workshop leaders that Le has studied with include Charles Reid, Frank Webb, Judi Betts, Skip Lawrence, Don Andrews and many others.  She likes to pass on what she  has learned by giving watercolor classes locally.  Le is active in the Crossville Arts Council and a past president of the Art Guild.
